Nestled in Isanti County, Prairie Star Care Farm transforms the historic Larson family farm into a sanctuary for wellbeing. Rooted in a long tradition of caring for both people and the land, we offer nature-based services, therapeutic activities, and creative workshops designed to foster healing, personal growth, and community connection.

What began in 1992 as a simple seed and grew into a lifelong mission to expand public access to nature-based care. Established as a non-profit organization in 2022, Prairie Star Care Farm brings the Care Farm model to life on the Larson family land—integrating social services with nature to nurture human dignity and mental health.
